Man arrested on multiple warrants in South Kingstown

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested a man on seven Washington County Superior Court bench warrants on Dec. 5.

Jazmond Reels, 35, of South Kingstown, was taken into custody without incident.

All seven warrants were for failure to appear for sentencing on technical violations, with each warrant holding him without bail.

The original charges included domestic disorderly conduct from the Richmond Police Department.

Additional charges included simple assault/battery from the Richmond Police Department.

Three of the warrants stemmed from domestic violence criminal violation of no contact order third offense charges, originating from the Richmond Police Department, North Kingstown Police Department and Charlestown Police Department.

Another warrant was for domestic violence criminal violation of no contact order third offense from the Rhode Island State Police Hope Valley Barracks.

One warrant was for domestic violence unlawful breaking and entering from the Richmond Police Department.

Reels was transported to the Adult Correctional Facility Men’s Intake Center.
