WEATHERSFIELD, VT — A two-vehicle crash on Route 106 left one driver dead Thursday evening.
The Windsor County Sheriff’s Department responded to the crash near Stoughton Pond Road at approximately 5:08 p.m. on Dec. 5.
One of the drivers died from their injuries, according to the sheriff’s department.
The Vermont State Police Crash Reconstruction Team is assisting with the investigation.
The road reopened at 11:11 p.m.
Weathersfield Fire, Springfield Fire and Police, Proctorsville Fire, Golden Cross Ambulance, Springfield Hospital Emergency Department and Twinline Towing and Recovery assisted at the scene.
