CRANSTON, RI — State Police arrested a Providence man on a domestic violence charge Wednesday afternoon.
Charles Nardolillo, 54, of Providence, was arrested at 3 p.m. on a charge of domestic violence – violation of a no contact order, first offense.
The arrest was the result of an investigation by troopers from the Scituate Barracks and Nardolillo being located at 2150 Scituate Avenue.
Nardolillo was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
He was released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.
In a separate incident, troopers arrested Pedro Wheeler, 34, of Providence, at 12:32 a.m. on a Fourth District Court bench warrant.
The warrant was for failure to appear for arraignment on a charge of driving with an expired license originating from the State Police Hope Valley Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in Providence.
Wheeler was transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed.
He was then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.
