SHOREHAM, VT — Vermont State Police troopers responded to a report of a simple assault at approximately 1:26 a.m. Saturday.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks investigated the incident and determined that Steven Barrera, 27, of Vergennes, knowingly caused bodily injury to another person.
Barrera was issued a citation to appear at Addison County Superior Court on Jan. 12, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
He faces charges of simple assault and unlawful mischief.
