CLIFTON PARK, NY — State Police responded to a business on Southside Drive for reports of a disturbance on Nov. 22 at about 1:47 p.m.
The investigation determined Brandon A. Vancleef, 34, of Ballston Lake, had driven himself and two children under the age of 16 to the business and proceeded to engage in a verbal altercation with an employee.
Following the investigation and interview of Vancleef, he was arrested for two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child (Leandra’s Law) and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The children were turned over to a family member.
Vancleef was transported to State Police Clifton Park for processing where he recorded a 0.13% BAC.
Vancleef was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Clifton Park Town Court on Dec. 11 and released to a sober third party.
