AUBURN, NY — A Fleming man turned himself in to police after allegedly making threatening calls and sending threatening messages to two victims over several weeks.
Daniel J. Rabuano, 32, of Fleming, was arrested Friday following an investigation that began Nov. 28 when the Auburn Police Department received a complaint regarding threatening calls, voicemails and messages on several social media platforms.
Police said Rabuano made threatening calls, left voicemails and sent threatening messages to two victims over the course of several weeks.
The victims advised Rabuano to stop all communication, but he failed to do so, according to police.
Rabuano’s actions left the two victims in fear for their safety, police said.
Officers contacted Rabuano, who subsequently turned himself in at Auburn Police Department headquarters at 25 Seminary St. on Dec. 3.
Rabuano was charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony, and two counts of aggravated harassment in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
