Two men arrested in Roxbury shooting

BOSTON, MA — Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with a November shooting in Roxbury.

Michael Ptomey, 65, of Roxbury, and Robert Alexander, 70, of Dorchester, were arrested at about 12:50 p.m. Dec. 3 in the area of 2400 Washington Street.

Both men were wanted on warrants issued out of Roxbury District Court charging them with carrying a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a building and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

The arrests stem from a shooting that occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in the area of 230 Warren Street.

A victim self-applied to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Both suspects are expected to be arraigned in Roxbury Court.
