NEW LONDON, CT — New London police are investigating an armed robbery at Sully’s Mobil on Vauxhall Street.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. Tuesday at the gas station located at 382 Vauxhall St.
Police said a male suspect brandished a handgun during the robbery and fled with an undisclosed amount of money before officers arrived.
The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic male of medium build, under 5 feet 6 inches tall, wearing dark clothing, a hoodie, a mask and latex gloves.
Officers established a perimeter and conducted a search of the area but did not locate the suspect.
Detectives processed the scene, collected evidence and interviewed witnesses.
