ELLENBURG, NY — New York State Police responded to a two-car personal injury collision on Military Turnpike on Dec. 2 at approximately 2:57 p.m.
An investigation determined that Susan Chaney, 73, of Plattsburgh, was operating a gray 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander traveling south when she failed to maintain her lane, striking a gray 2024 Subaru Forester operated by Linda Myers, 64, of Norwood, on the driver’s side.
Local fire and rescue departments arrived on scene and evaluated both operators.
Chaney was transported to Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital for non-life-threatening medical treatment.
Chaney was issued a vehicle and traffic ticket returnable to the Town of Ellenburg Court at a later date.
