RAMAPO, NY — A Spring Valley man was arrested after allegedly striking another man with a tire iron during a road-rage incident this morning.
Ramapo Police officers responded to the parking lot of 5 North Airmont Road at approximately 9 a.m.
A 30-year-old man from Spring Valley struck a 29-year-old West Nyack man with a tire iron following a road-rage dispute, according to police.
The victim sustained injuries to his ribs, knee, elbow and hip.
Officers arrested the suspect a short time later and recovered the tire iron used in the assault as evidence.
The suspect was charged with assault in the second degree, a felony.
He is currently awaiting arraignment.
