ORNEVILLE, ME — A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an October assault that left three people injured, including one man who was severely hurt.
Lindel “Anthony” Wilson, of Orneville, was arrested Dec. 2 on charges of elevated aggravated assault, a Class A felony, and aggravated assault, a Class D crime.
The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault at approximately 10:10 p.m. Oct. 28.
Deputies and Three Rivers Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
Authorities found a male victim had been severely injured in the assault, and two female victims had also been assaulted.
The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit was called to assist with the investigation due to the severity of the injuries.
Investigating deputies worked with the District Attorney’s office to secure an arrest warrant for Wilson.
Wilson is being held at the Piscataquis County Jail on $10,000 bail.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on the charges.
Wilson has a criminal history in South Carolina.
All parties involved were known to each other, according to authorities.
