PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested early Wednesday morning on two outstanding warrants following a traffic stop.
Kenneth Irizarry, 45, of Providence, was taken into custody at 2:18 a.m. on Royal Little Drive.
Irizarry was arrested on a Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance originating from the Lincoln Police Department.
He also was arrested on a Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for hold without bail on a probation violation on an original charge of shoplifting originating from the Smithfield Police Department.
Irizarry was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
