HALIFAX, VT — A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle slid off a road Nov. 30.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Westminster Barracks responded to a report of a single vehicle that had slid off Hatch School Road at approximately 10:49 p.m.
Troopers made contact with the operator, Jazlyn Carlson, 32, of Whitingham, and observed indicators of impairment.
Following a roadside investigation, Carlson was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Carlson was transported to the Wilmington Police Department for processing.
She was later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham County, Criminal Division on Dec. 16 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of DUI.
The vehicle did not sustain damage upon sliding off the roadway.
