Man arrested on federal warrant in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested on a federal probation bench warrant and a Providence Superior Court warrant.

Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Irving Medina, 37, of Pawtucket, on Nov. 24.

Medina was wanted on a federal probation bench warrant for escapee and a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for obtaining property by false pretenses.

He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the United States Marshals on scene.

Man charged as fugitive from justice in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged as a fugitive from justice from the State of Massachusetts.

The ACI Investigations Unit charged Brandan Ryl, 25, of Providence, on Nov. 26.

Ryl was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Massachusetts.

WARWICK, RI — A Warwick man was charged as a fugitive from justice from the State of Massachusetts.

The ACI Investigations Unit charged Joshua Fuller, 45, of Warwick, on Nov. 26.

Fuller was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Massachusetts.

Man arrested on driving to endanger charge in Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on a charge of driving to endanger resulting in death.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit, assisted by members of the Detective and Patrol Bureaus, arrested Juan Archila, 43, of Providence, on Nov. 27.

Archila was arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, where bail was set at $50,000 with surety.

He was unable to secure bail funds and was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
