Man arrested on larceny charges in Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH, NY — Clinton County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Brooklyn man following an investigation into items stolen from a business.

Malcolm J. Milton, 36, of Brooklyn, was arrested at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 16 and charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, both class A misdemeanors.

The charges stem from an investigation into items stolen from a business in the Town of Plattsburgh on Nov. 14.

When Milton was apprehended on Nov. 14 for another matter, he was found to be in possession of the stolen items, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.

Milton was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and returned to Clinton County Correctional Facility, where he is currently being held on other charges.

Milton was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Plattsburgh Court to appear at a later date.

The New York State Police assisted the Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
