WILTON, NY — A woman faces burglary and larceny charges following an incident at a Walmart on Monday.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active larceny complaint at 7:30 p.m. at the Walmart in the town of Wilton.
Linda M. Alonzo, 66, of Wilton, was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
Alonzo is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building with intent to commit a crime.
She had allegedly been previously informed by the business that she was not allowed on the premises.
Alonzo is also accused of stealing merchandise from the store.
She was arraigned before the Honorable David R. Towne in Wilton Town Court and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
