GRANBY, CT — Police are investigating a series of vehicle thefts and break-ins that occurred overnight between Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.
The Granby Police Department said possibly two to three light-skinned, skinny male suspects wearing masks targeted unlocked vehicles in several neighborhoods.
One suspect appears to be armed with a firearm, according to police.
The incidents occurred on Byron Drive, Pine Woods Road, Spring Glen Drive, Windmill Drive, Chatsworth Road and areas near Copper Brook Circle.
Police said one stolen vehicle has been located and returned to its owner.
A 2014 black Kia Sorento with Connecticut registration BU51446 remains missing.
The suspects are described as males approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, light-skinned and skinny, wearing dark clothing and masks.
Police said the suspects were seen moving quickly between driveways.
Authorities are urging residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables and report suspicious persons walking through driveways or checking car doors.
Police said residents should not approach anyone involved and should call immediately.
