BETHEL, VT — A New Hampshire man was arrested after authorities found him in violation of an abuse prevention order while investigating a suspicious vehicle.
James R. Bean, 52, of Meredith, New Hampshire, was taken into custody at approximately 10:39 p.m. Nov. 29 on Peavine Boulevard near the shooting range.
Sheriff Ryan Palmer made contact with Bean during the investigation and determined he was violating an abuse prevention order issued in New Hampshire.
The order required Bean to stay 300 feet away from the passenger in the vehicle he was operating.
Deputies Michayla Eisner and Craig Watrous responded to assist with the arrest.
Bean was transported to the Hartford Police Department for processing.
He was issued a flash citation to appear in Windsor County Court on Dec. 1 at 12:30 p.m.
Bean was released after being cited and processed.
