SCITUATE, RI — State police arrested a Pawtucket woman on fraud charges Tuesday morning after she turned herself in at the barracks.
Calnisha Scurry, 32, of Pawtucket, was taken into custody at 11:15 a.m. at the Scituate barracks.
Scurry was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses over $10,000 and fraudulently obtaining public assistance over $500.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation.
Scurry was processed and transported to 3rd Division District Court for arraignment.
