DICKINSON, NY — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office and family members continue to search for a Vestal man who has been missing for nearly a year.
Adib “Eddie” Rouhana, 69, of Vestal, was last seen on Jan. 11 around noon at his place of business, Cars-R-US, located at 1170 Upper Front St. in the Town of Chenango.
Cell phone records show his phone was last used later that same day.
Rouhana’s family reported him missing on Jan. 14.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office has been actively investigating his disappearance for the past several months.
“As families gather together for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Rouhana family is still without answers,” said Sheriff Fred Akshar.
Akshar said detectives have followed through on every lead, poured through data and utilized every investigative tool available to find Rouhana.
“Someone in this community knows more, and we need more information and assistance from the public to help find him,” Akshar said.
The Rouhana family is offering a $20,000 reward for any information that leads directly to Rouhana’s whereabouts.
The family released a statement saying they feel strongly that Rouhana did not leave voluntarily.
“Someone in the community has information as to his whereabouts and as the mother of his five children, and his family we waited almost a year for any information,” the statement said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Broome County Sheriff’s Office tip line at (607) 778-1196.
