FALL RIVER, MA — A suspect in a fatal shooting outside a package store has been arrested in Florida.
Kendrick Williams, 32, was taken into custody in Jacksonville, Florida, in connection with the shooting death of Taiquan Teixeira on Saturday outside Leonard’s Package Store.
Williams faces numerous charges and is being held without bail in Florida pending extradition to Massachusetts.
The arrest was made through a joint investigation by the Fall River Police Department’s Major Crimes Division, Massachusetts State Police and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.
