SOMERVILLE, MA — Police are investigating multiple residential break-ins that occurred along three streets in Ward 2 between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.

The incidents took place on Harold Street, Wyatt Street, and Dimick Street, according to a public safety advisory issued by the Somerville Police Department.

Two of the break-ins occurred at night between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.

A possible suspect has been described as a male with a dark complexion, operating a scooter and wearing a puffy jacket.

Police are encouraging residents and visitors in the area to remain vigilant and take safety precautions.

Authorities recommend ensuring all doors, windows, and other entry points to homes are properly secured.

Police said the suspect or suspects appear to be targeting homes when occupants are away, and suggest leaving porch lights and some interior lights on.
