KILLINGTON, VT — Killington Police arrested two people on retail theft charges after one of them approached officers in a parking lot on November 20.

Angel Galiano, 31, of Rutland, initially told police in the parking lot of the Killington Welcome Center that she felt she had been set up to participate in retail theft from Killington Sports.

While speaking with officers, Galiano implicated her boyfriend Kane Frasier, 39, of Whitehall, New York, for shoplifting merchandise from Killington Sports.

Frasier arrived on foot during the conversation and admitted to shoplifting when asked by police, explaining he had stolen a coat for Galiano.

Police found Frasier in possession of three stolen articles of clothing.

Galiano later admitted her involvement and said she helped steal a shirt from the store but discarded it outside of the business when she suspected police had been called by store staff.

Both suspects told police they were stealing to support their respective drug addictions.

Frasier and Galiano are charged with retail theft and possession of stolen property.

Both are scheduled to appear in court on January 5, 2026, at 10 a.m.
