TERRYVILLE, CT — Police responded to a single-vehicle accident at 311 Main Street on Nov. 24 at approximately 11:13 a.m.
A 2008 Ford Escape drove through the front entrance of Advanced Physical Therapy, according to the Plymouth Police Department.
All business staff safely evacuated the building and no injuries were reported.
The operator was identified as Arthur Dessureau, 68, of Thomaston.
Police determined Dessureau was operating his vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
Dessureau was cited for the violation before being transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
The Plymouth Police Department, Terryville Volunteer Fire Department and Plymouth Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to the scene.
The scene was turned over to the building inspector’s office.
