SHARON, VT — A single-vehicle crash temporarily reduced Interstate 89 to one lane Wednesday morning.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks responded to the crash at approximately 7:13 a.m. on Interstate 89 southbound near Exit 2 at mile marker 13.
The operator was identified as Austin Braga, 28, of Massachusetts, who was driving a 2003 Toyota Camry.
Braga was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
Road conditions were wet with rain and fog reported in the area.
The interstate was temporarily reduced to one lane for safety as troopers investigated the crash.
The Sharon Fire Department and Hartford Rescue assisted at the scene.
Occupants were transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.
The Toyota Camry sustained damage in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
