RUTLAND, VT — A 50-year-old inmate at Marble Valley Correctional Center was arrested on an assault charge after allegedly striking another inmate.
Administrative staff at the facility notified Vermont State Police of an assault between two inmates on Nov. 18.
An investigation determined that Joshua Rheaume, 50, of Rutland, entered the cell of Isaiah M. Hall-Graham, 24, of Rutland, and struck him in the face.
Hall-Graham sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Rheaume was charged with simple assault.
