NEWARK, NJ — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman wanted for questioning in connection with a shooting that occurred on Nov. 16.
Torrain Jonelle Walker, 22, of Newark, is being sought by authorities investigating the incident, according to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr.
At approximately 4:52 a.m., the ShotSpotter detection system picked up gunfire on Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard near Bloomfield Avenue.
Police officers responded to the location and found three 9mm shell casings.
