Police seek suspect in Salem aggravated identity theft

SALEM, NH — Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man who allegedly used another person’s Verizon account to purchase more than $2,000 worth of Apple products at a Salem business on Oct. 9.

According to the Salem Police Department, the suspect is described as being approximately 6’5” tall and was seen wearing a Yankees sweatshirt at the time of the incident.

Authorities said the purchases were made fraudulently using the victim’s account information.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to contact the Salem Police Department.
