LITTLE EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Four people were arrested and approximately six ounces of methamphetamine were seized after police executed a search warrant at a residence in Little Egg Harbor Township on Nov. 3.
The Little Egg Harbor Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, with assistance from the Stafford Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit and the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team, carried out a court-authorized search at a home on Lake George Court as part of a narcotics-related investigation.
During the search, officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, including multiple glass smoking devices, a digital scale, and packaging material.
Daniel McDonald, 37, of Little Egg Harbor was arrested and charged with first-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was transported to the Ocean County Jail pending future court proceedings.
Danielle Trojan, 38, of Little Egg Harbor was arrested and served a summons for first-degree distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was released pending future court proceedings.
Michael McDonald, 43, of Little Egg Harbor was arrested and served a summons on charges of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending future court proceedings.
Christopher Tyler, 66, of Little Egg Harbor was arrested and issued a summons for third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending future court proceedings.
Additional assistance was provided by the Little Egg Harbor Patrol Division, Little Egg Harbor Detective Bureau, and the New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression South Unit.
Police remind the public that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
