BRANFORD, CT — A pedestrian was killed in a car crash earlier Wednesday evening in the area of 13 North Main Street, according to the Branford Police Department.
Members of the Branford Police Department and the South Central CT Traffic Unit responded to the scene and are conducting a full investigation.
Police said the driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Due to the ongoing investigation, the roadway between Main Street and Cherry Hill Road is closed to all traffic.
The identity of the pedestrian has not been released, pending notification of family.
