SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a man on two active arrest warrants Wednesday in connection with thefts at a local grocery store.
Raul Medina-Alverez, 45, of Amston, was taken into custody at 9:20 a.m. Nov. 19.
The charges stem from two separate incidents in August in which Monster energy drinks were stolen from Stop & Shop at 1739 Ellington Road.
Medina-Alverez faces two counts of larceny in the sixth degree.
He was presented at Manchester Superior Court on Thursday.
Medina-Alverez was already in state custody on charges from other jurisdictions at the time of his arrest.
