EAST GREENWICH, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested on outstanding warrants following a motor vehicle stop on Route 4.
Troopers arrested Johnathan Ramsey, 40, of Pawtucket, at 1:33 p.m.
Ramsey was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant out of Woonsocket Police Department for simple assault and vandalism.
He also had a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a technical violation hearing on an original charge of domestic violence – criminal violation out of North Providence Police Department.
The arrest occurred after troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 and subsequently located Ramsey aboard a RIPTA bus.
Ramsey was transported to Kent County Hospital for an evaluation.
He was later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.
