VERONA, NY — A Verona man was arrested following a domestic incident on Nov. 18.
Patrol deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident at a residence in the town of Verona, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.
Following an investigation, deputies determined that Zachary T. Hitchings, 29, of Verona, had engaged in a verbal argument with the victim that turned physical while a child was present.
Hitchings was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation; fourth-degree criminal mischief for preventing an emergency call, a Class A misdemeanor; and endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.
He was transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building for processing.
Hitchings was being held at the Oneida County Jail pending arraignment at the Oneida County Central Arraignment Court.
