SACO, ME — Three men were arrested on felony forgery charges after police responded to a report of a fraudulent check being cashed at a local bank on Nov. 10.

The Saco Police Department was contacted by a banking institution advising that a man was meeting with a teller and attempting to cash a fraudulent check.

Saco patrol officers and detectives responded to the bank and the immediate area after the Biddeford Police Department had sent out a notice to area agencies earlier in the day advising of similar activity involving a silver Dodge SUV with a Georgia registration.

An officer located Jason Trickett, 54, of Biddeford, inside the bank and an investigation immediately ensued.

Officers and detectives located Richard Cheese, 50, and Roderick Davis, 21, both of Atlanta, Georgia, in a parked silver Dodge Durango bearing a Georgia registration near the bank.

All three men were charged with felony forgery.

Bail on Cheese and Davis was set at $50,000 and they were transported to York County Jail.

All three men have court dates at Biddeford Unified Court on Jan. 21, 2026.
