Woman arrested on assault charges in Auburn

AUBURN, NY — A woman was arrested following a domestic incident on Osborne Street late Nov. 14.

Officers were dispatched to a residence on Osborne Street at approximately 11:35 p.m. for a domestic complaint with injuries.

The caller told dispatch that Lisa Mack hit him in the head with a broom handle.

Officers responded and interviewed all parties present.

The victim was treated on scene for head injuries by Auburn City Ambulance.

It was determined that Mack hit the victim with a metal rod.

The victim became uncooperative and Mack was arrested for the assault.

Mack was processed on her charges and transported to the Cayuga County Jail for arraignment.

Lisa M. Mack, 53, of Auburn, was charged with assault in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the 3rd degree, a class D felony.
