SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police arrested a 30-year-old woman on an active warrant stemming from a domestic violence incident.
Kamari J. Williams, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 5:57 p.m. Friday.
Police said Williams struck a victim in the shoulder and head during an incident on Nov. 9.
Authorities said Williams also retrieved a knife and swung it at the victim multiple times.
Two juveniles were present during the incident, according to police.
Williams was charged with risk of injury to a child, breach of peace in the second degree and criminal attempt at assault in the second degree.
She was processed and released on a $25,000 surety bond.
Williams is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court this morning at 9 a.m.
