Man arrested on criminal threatening charge in Sheldon

SHELDON, VT — A 31-year-old man was arrested after allegedly threatening a household member via text message.

On Nov. 15 at approximately 4:48 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks received a report that Trevor Gagner of Sheldon was threatening to cause serious bodily injury or death to a household member via text message.

Investigation revealed that Gagner had caused fear of serious bodily injury or death to the household member.

Gagner was taken into custody and transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility where he was held on $500 bail for the charge of criminal threatening.

Gagner was issued a flash citation ordering him to appear before the Franklin County Criminal Court on Nov. 17 at 1 p.m.
