Man arrested on drug trafficking charge in Norwood

NORWOOD, MA — A traffic stop for a suspended registration led to the arrest of a man on drug trafficking charges Nov. 10.

Officer Sean Kelly stopped a black Mercedes Benz near 480 Washington Street after observing the vehicle operating with a suspended registration, according to the Norwood Police Department.

The operator, Keeshonn Wilson of Stoughton, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license, his 10th offense for operating after suspension, police said.

Wilson was placed under arrest.

During an inventory of the vehicle, officers recovered 25.8 grams of cocaine, police said.

Wilson is charged with trafficking Class B (cocaine) and motor vehicle violations.
