DORCHESTER, MA — A 50-year-old man was arrested Thursday on firearm and drug trafficking charges after police executed search warrants on Blue Hill Avenue.
Tyrone Wilson, of Dorchester, was taken into custody by officers assigned to the Drug Control Unit of District B-2 (Roxbury) and C-11 (Dorchester).
Officers executed search warrants in the area of 366 Blue Hill Avenue as part of a drug investigation.
Police recovered a Glock 43 with one round in the chamber and six rounds in the magazine, and a Kahr .40 caliber firearm with six rounds in the magazine.
Officers also seized a drum magazine loaded with 38 rounds, 380 grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, drug packaging material and approximately $4,471 in U.S. currency.
Wilson is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on charges of trafficking of Class B (over 300 grams), two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a high capacity feeding device, receiving stolen property, obliterated serial number and armed career criminal level 3.
