SHAFTSBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 38-year-old man on domestic assault and cruelty to a child charges following incidents that occurred over a two-week period.
Francis Santiago-Perez, of Shaftsbury, was taken into custody on the evening of Nov. 12.
Police were notified Nov. 12 of a past domestic incident that occurred at a residence on Bouplon Hollow Road in Shaftsbury.
The initial incident occurred Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Investigation revealed that during two incidents over the last two weeks, Santiago-Perez caused injury to two juvenile household members.
Santiago-Perez was located during the evening of Nov. 12 and placed under arrest.
He was transported to the Shaftsbury State Police Barracks where he was processed and later released with a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Nov. 13 at 12:30 p.m.
