WEST GREENWICH, RI — A New London, Connecticut man was arrested on a warrant during a traffic stop Wednesday night.
Antione S. Jones, 45, of New London, was taken into custody at 7:31 p.m. on Route 95 North.
Jones was wanted on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for a technical violation on an original charge of possession of a Schedule I to V controlled substance – 10 grams or less.
The original charge originated from the Providence Police Department.
Jones was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed.
He was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
