ULSTER, NY — A Lake Katrine man was arrested on drunken driving charges following a two-car crash Nov. 5.
Edin E. Lopez-Diaz, 22, of Lake Katrine, was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated per se.
Police responded to a property damage accident at the intersection of Ulster Avenue and Frank Sottile Boulevard at approximately 9:51 p.m.
An investigation determined Lopez-Diaz, who was operating one of the vehicles involved, was driving while intoxicated, police said.
Lopez-Diaz was taken into custody and transported to Ulster Police Headquarters for processing at approximately 10:18 p.m.
He submitted to a chemical breath test that yielded a result of .16 percent blood alcohol content.
Lopez-Diaz was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Ulster Town Court on Dec. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
