HALFMOON, NY — A 20-year-old man faces multiple charges following a crash on Werner Road on Oct. 24.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury motor vehicle crash at 4:34 p.m. on Werner Road in the town of Halfmoon.
Eliezer Colon-Villafana, of Halfmoon, was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and moving from lane unsafely.
Authorities say Colon-Villafana was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and while his driver’s license was suspended.
He is also accused of failing to drive his vehicle entirely within a single lane.
Colon-Villafana’s vehicle was traveling west on Werner Road when it veered off the roadway and struck an unoccupied parked pickup truck in a private driveway, according to authorities.
He was transported to Albany Medical Center by Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS for evaluation and treatment.
Colon-Villafana was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Halfmoon Town Court.
