OWEGO, NY — A man wanted on a warrant since 2021 was arrested last week, according to the Owego Police Department.
James C. Smith, 40, of Owego, was arrested on a warrant for second-degree reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor, due to failure to appear in court since 2021.
Smith was arraigned in Village of Owego Court and was released on his own recognizance pending future court appearances.
Police also arrested Frederick R. Davis, 42, of Owego, for tampering with physical evidence, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, following a traffic stop on Southside Drive.
Davis was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Owego Court.
Nathania C. Luciano, 51, of Owego, was arrested for fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, tampering with physical evidence, a felony, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, uninspected motor vehicle, a violation, and inadequate muffler, a violation, following a traffic stop on Southside Drive.
Luciano was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Owego Court.
Ryan M. Bacon, 25, of Binghamton, was arrested on a warrant for fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, due to failure to appear in court.
Bacon was additionally charged with third-degree bail jumping, a misdemeanor, and turned over to Tioga County Sheriff’s custody for arraignment at Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court.
