WORCESTER, MA — Police are seeking the public’s help identifying two suspects connected to multiple robberies targeting elderly victims.
The Worcester Police Department said the robberies follow a similar pattern in which two unknown suspects drive up to elderly individuals walking along the street.
One suspect engages the victim in conversation before removing jewelry from around their necks, police said.
The suspects then flee the scene.
Police said most of the victims in these cases have been elderly.
Detectives are asking anyone who has been victimized in a similar incident to contact the Worcester Police Department Detective Bureau at 508-799-8651.
