ABSECON, NJ — A pedestrian was killed in a crash at the intersection of Route 9 and California Avenue on the evening of Nov. 11.
Officers from the Absecon Police Department responded to the fatal pedestrian motor vehicle crash at approximately 7:38 p.m.
The driver involved remained on scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Absecon Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit and the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Crash Investigations Unit.
Traffic in the area was interrupted for approximately five hours as a result of the crash.
