AVON, NY — A Rochester man was arrested on a felony charge following a traffic stop on West Henrietta Road.
Deputy Matthew VanCuran conducted the traffic stop at approximately 8:03 p.m. Nov. 8 for violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
The operator was identified as Willie Nash, 37, of Rochester.
Through investigation, it was found that Nash was operating the vehicle while having a revoked New York State driver’s license.
Nash had a total of 32 revocations on his license.
Nash was arrested and charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree and additional violations of the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
Nash was transported to the Livingston County Jail for arrest processing and pre-arraignment detention.
Nash was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part at the Livingston County Jail before Town of Caledonia Justice Riggi.
The judge released Nash on his own recognizance as the offenses do not qualify for bail under the New York State Bail Reform Act.
The Livingston County Public Defender’s Office represented Nash at the court arraignment.
The Livingston County District Attorney’s Office represented the People.
