BOSTON, MA — Officers from District D-4 continued enforcement efforts under “Operation Safe Scooter” near Northeastern University on Thursday.
Officers towed four motorcycles and issued citations for various motor vehicle violations in the area of Huntington Avenue and Gainsboro Street.
Citations included operating unregistered motorcycles and driving without a license, for which a summons was issued.
Officers have conducted several educational campaigns in recent weeks, informing riders about proper procedures for legal operation of scooters and motorcycles within the city.
Anyone with information related to similar illegal activity is encouraged to contact the Boston Police Department or call 911 in case of an emergency.
