BOSTON, MA — Officers from District E-18 conducted a targeted enforcement operation focused on scooters and mopeds on Thursday.
The initiative was organized in response to ongoing public safety concerns regarding the use of these vehicles, which have been linked to motor vehicle violations and, in some cases, violent crimes.
During the operation, officers seized nine mopeds and issued multiple citations and summonses for a range of motor vehicle law violations, including operating unregistered, uninsured, and unlicensed vehicles.
