WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Philadelphia man was arrested early Saturday morning following a traffic stop on Route 95.
Jose G. Lopez Chevez, 41, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody at 1:27 a.m. on a charge of forgery/counterfeiting of registration plates.
Troopers conducted the motor vehicle stop in West Greenwich.
Lopez Chevez was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
He was released with a court date in 3rd Division District Court.
